As part of this project, 715 indigenous women smallholder farmers were strengthened by RESSAC in targeted villages in the Ruzizi Plain in South Kivu, DRC. They received traditional agricultural seeds resilient to climate change and learned and practiced agricultural techniques and knowledge adapted to climate change in farmer field schools. This project has had an impact on the lives of the beneficiary women, contributing to increased agricultural production and improved living conditions for them and their families in the Ruzizi Plain in South Kivu. RESSAC in partnership with Mwanamke Fund carried out this activity as part of the project to Strengthen the resilience of indigenous women to climate change in the Ruzizi plain implemented by the women's organization DFF Congo (Dynamics of Women and Girls in Action) in the Ruzizi plain in South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
